“It’s a case of don’t judge a book by its cover. This hotel is clean, cozy, and the nicest people to deal with. I highly recommend to get off the beaten path on trans Canada through Revelstoke and take the roundabout to the right and find the Mountain View hotel and patronize this lovely, kind, couple that have a mom and pop hotel. It’s not a big chain hotel, it’s just a nice couple trying to make a living and that’s the kind of patronage I want.”
“Simple motel in old downtown Revy. We showed up for a snow storm for some skiing and so did everyone else apparently. After coming down off the resort we thought we'd find a room but no luck. Revelstoke has beds but not an abundance when the resort hosts 5000+ visitors. We were about to drive back to Golden when we missed a corner and took the next side street and there blinking back in the snow drifts, we saw a vacancy sign flashing. We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect for our needs. They also have some bigger rooms with kitchenettes and I'll stay there any time we come through Revelstoke.”
“If I can give this place 10 stars I would. Very accommodating, very considerate. Owners were very nice and friendly. Was driving through late at night but couldn’t go through cause of the road closure by golden. Didn’t have a reservation, but took us in. Nice room, clean, with a big tv with a very small cute kitchenette. Very good price, but don’t expect the something very fancy with a jet pool. A nice little place to crash when traveling late. Don’t expect the holiday inn.”
